IndexUser Defined Arrays
QuickSpots contains a large collection of templates for arrays from several manufacturers. If you need a template for an array model that isn’t supplied with QuickSpots, feel free to contact us to request it. We can usually deliver a template within one business day.
QuickSpots also supplies three templates that can be used with 96-spot arrays (8x12) which can be customized as desired by the user using a plain text editor such as Notepad. The template files can be found in the Tools/HL_QuickSpots2 folder. Their names begin with “User96”. User96Single.ini is designed for arrays without spot pairs. User96HPairs.ini is for spots that are paired with their horizontal neighbor. User96VPairs.ini is for spots that are paired with their vertical neighbor.
Each file contains instructions for any customizations you may wish to make at the top of the file. If you plan to customize a file (for example, to name the spot pairs,) we strongly recommend duplicating it and editing your new copy to ensure that your changes are not overwritten when installing QuickSpots updates.
